Mr. Julian Primbs is a physicist and graduate engineer. At Zimmermann & Partner he works on national and international patent applications and their prosecution before the German and European Patent Offices. At our frim his focus is on semiconductor technology, including display technology, lithography, and coating and deposition processes. He also works on cases in the area of mechanical and electrical engineering.
Mr. Primbs studied physics (M.Sc.) and electrical engineering and information technology (Dipl.-Ing. (TUM)) at the Technical University of Munich, specializing in semiconductor technology and micro- and nanotechnology. His Master’s thesis at the Walter Schottky Institute focused on the control of charge transport in low-dimensional materials with ultrathin interfacial oxides and nitrides. As part of his Bachelor’s thesis at the Excellence Cluster Universe at TUM, he developed a device for spin polarization of noble gases. Prior to his studies, Mr. Primbs completed a technical education.
